Plush toys are made to be cuddled, but a few simple habits keep them safe and looking their best.
Age guidance
Always check the age guidance and warnings on the product label and packaging. If a toy has no age marking, or you are unsure, do not give it to a child under 3 years old, and supervise young children with any toy.
General safety
- Check toys regularly and stop using one that is torn, has loose parts or has a damaged seam.
- Keep plush toys, charms and keyrings away from open flames and heat sources.
- Small plush charms and keyrings can have small parts and chains. Keep them away from babies and young children.
- Remove packaging and any loose tags before giving a toy to a child, and keep plastic bags away from babies and children.
Caring for your plush
Follow the care label on your plush where there is one. If there is no care label, spot-clean gently with a damp cloth and mild soap and let it dry naturally away from direct heat. If you are unsure, contact us before washing.
